Chiropractic Care

Safe, gentle, specific spinal manipulation to free joints, particularly in the spine.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a hands-on treatment. Chiropractors diagnose, treat and manage conditions related to joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves, particularly in the spine.

As a treatment, chiropractic is very safe. Treatment involves gentle, specific spinal manipulation to allow joints that are stiff to begin moving properly. Other techniques are also used where appropriate.

Chiropractic is best known for treating back and neck pain, but patients also consult chiropractors regarding a variety of other conditions.

What Happens During my First Visit?

During your first visit, a detailed case history will be taken in order to assess your condition. An examination will be performed including specific neurological and orthopaedic tests as required.

If necessary, imaging studies such as x-rays or MRI may be requested to evaluate the underlying cause of a condition.

Individual Care

Following the examination, an individual course of care will be outlined to you, tailored your own needs and activities.

All consultations are strictly confidential.

Chiropractic Explained

Chiropractors focus on health and on helping an individual reach his or her potential in every area of life. Chiropractors do this by keeping the nerve system as clear of interference as possible so the body can work better, naturally. Joseph B. Strauss, D.C., Levittown, Pennsylvania
